Go Red For Women Picnic Day!!!

Thanks Nuffnang, was invited to join in the fighting against heart disease of Singapore Heart Foundation's GO RED FOR WOMEN PICNIC DAY!!

I asked my families along to the event and also to FLY KITE!!!

It was raining while we are on our way there. I was so sad and disheartened because i really want to fly the kite~

Luckily, there was tentage that was set up for the bands' performance, a few booths, health checks and FREE goodies bag!!! we walk around hunting and looking out for interesting stuff~



The heart health check booth where we get to check our blood pressure,weight,height,BMI and blah blah blah....


X testing his blood pressure but unfortunately, the thing that goes around his arm is toooo small for him..LOL and it "exploded" 3-4 times..Wahahahaha...


Face painting booth where we can get our face painted with lil, medium and big hearts!!!

To support this event, the dress code is RED but unfortunately, i don't have any but, we have our RED CUTTLEFISH to support!!!


TADA~ Cute right? i brought it when we are at Marina Barrage last year~


While waiting for the rain to stop, i spotted something PRO~


LOOK~ the PRO equipments!! Look at the size of the wheel of string for their kites...they even need a strap to carry when flying kite??!?!?! simply C R A Z Y~

Not long after, 太阳公公 finally shown up~

and people started to set up their picnic mats and fly their kites~


The stunt kites that don't require any wind to bring it up... *its the only kite that can be flown during that day...not even the experts' kite flown up~*


We are suppose to be able to witness the maiden flight of the largest kite to be flown in Singapore. BUT, after a few attempts, about 8 experts still cannot bring it up. Too bad~

However, the experts did not give up.


They set up a second biggest kite of the day to fly..... it is so huge that the supporting poles are about 2cm diameter!!! BUT still, after a few attempts, it failed......

Our cuttlefish also could not get it up too because there is no wind after the big rain~ so sad lah~ haiyo~

No rain liao but very big sun.... that.....

X and didi used our gigantic cuttlefish to block the sun~ obviously, NO USE~ LOL

About 5 plus 6, we decided to pack and leave as everything ended and its the last part of the day, LUCKY DRAW!!! we also did not quite look forward to as its the last top 3 prizes and i feel we have no luck.

Just when we decided to walk away, the emcee announced the second prize winner :" FU.....SI....YUN........" I thought for awhile before i realized that he is announcing sista's name!! LOL....and she just left like 5mins ago? X quickly nudge me and ask me go and take for her...wahahahaha...lucky her...

She won herself a CPR kit? , collagen supplements, face masks and $10 Frolick voucher!!!
and of course i get to have 50% of the prize too...hahaha....

After everything ended we drove back to Tampines for our dinner and decided to drive X's mum for a spin since we rented the car for that weekend....


We went up the mountain to JEWEL BOX!!!!

I simply love the place there including the toilet!!!! i remember my last birthday, X drive me and my gfs up there and we stayed in the toilet for at least 45mins? or an hour? just to cam whore~ wahahahahaha.... when we came out, our bfs' face turned so black~ wahahaha... but its still fun and nice~
