I've been to other places for classic pedi. But Absolutely Nails is definitely the first who will go extra mile on exfoliating for my feet! *comfy to the max*

Very quickly she did my nails!

She's very nice,  because she will advise me on ways to protect my nails!  Just so thoughtful, as compared to other Manicurist I went before, they normally just hurriedly do their part and it ends. To me, manicures and pedicures should be pampering, and Absolutely Nails do have this important point.

Firstly, I was late for my appointment due to a heavy traffic,  they still waited for me despite I'm their last customer.  And what's more?  They definitely still made me feel pampered with their services! It's late, and I do felt bad about it, yet they did not hurriedly finish the job ~ The colours are also very pretty!!  I really love it..

Few weeks ago, I am very privileged to be invited to attend a nails workshop by L'Oreal Paris Singapore. This time, I'm introduced with their new nail range - Color Riche Nail Polish with everlasting shine for UP TO 10 DAYS!!!

Look at those beautiful colours! LOréal Paris has created limitless color, blended to dress your nails with the trendiest colors. Using a colorimeter, Loreal Paris colorist measure the color obtained in each nail polish shade to obtain the perfect nuance.

What are the unique points for Color Riche Nail polish?

THE TECHNOLOGY: ‘Built-in Topcoat’

Kiwi fruit? Nah~

I bought this green OPI nail polish recently and I so gonna try to use it! And there we have the kiwi fruit nails for this week!

This is the second fruit design that I've attempted. If you missed it, I actually did a watermelon version here !!  In fact, I actually don't eat kiwi fruit. LOL.. as I would feel uncomfortable in my throat if I ate them. I can't eat them but I can make them on my nails!

Teal obsession~

I still can't get enough with my love for the teal / Tiffany / turquoise (whatever that you call it), colour nail polish. And so I attempted this simple design with some black... :

I love how this colour goes with black and also the abstract "lace" design with a nude pink base colour.

I have butter fingers...

Hello pretty and handsome!!

Sorry for not updating as I got caught up with a self adsorbed interior project for my daddy!! Not really self adsorb lah, more like I chipped in? No matter what ,I still stay in this house and its for my parents.. So how to charge them for the design fees right?

Just like my title, I had butter fingers!!! LITERATELY!!! LOL....

In real life, I admit I do have butter finger...... things that I hold often will drop! May be not just butter fingers but more like clumsy~ *bleah* Anyway, I came out with this design because I decided to try a pure yellow colour nail polish as the base colour which I only used yellow on the smallest portion. Therefore, "butter" colour came to my mind! Its a simple and clean design~

Nail art of the week on sister...

Hello people,
Hope you have a fun week!! And it's TGIF ~ we should enjoy!

Whoohoo...

So this week I did not really do a nail art on my nails, just a plain shimmery black, using OPI's "the private jet". But I did nail arts for my sister!

She has very short nails because she cannot keep it long for the sake of her kids.. #mumsloveforkids

...and she is attending a wedding dinner with her little black dress tomorrow! 

So here is what I did for her:

It's a pretty simple nail art, with also OPI's  "the private jet ". I simply love this polish colour and shimmers!!  I've been using it ever since I bought it!

Well, watermelon is also the best fruit for Singapore's hot weather!!

I'm sick..miserable and I'M LEAVING TODAY!!!

My blog post title sound negative much? Don't worry!

I'm just leaving for cruise tonight and I'll be back on good Friday!! Hooray!!

But yea, I'm terribly sick since yesterday!  FML to the max please! I hate getting ill specially when I'm travelling!!! *shitty mood on *

It just got so bad till I'm mood-less for everything!!

I've got this Easter day nailart design been running on my mind for 2 weeks and I just can't wait to share with you guys!  BUT.... I'm just too sick to bend my head down to draw the design on my nails because my nose just wouldn't stop dripping... :/

So instead of the nail art design that is running in my mind, I've the plain nails done with OPI's liquid sand collection!

This collection is soooooo PRETTY with the texture and blings!! Most importantly, it's so easy to put on and I don't need to apply top coats for this! =D

There are also other colours to choose from and the one I'm using is "The Impossible".

Nail Tutorial : Sparkling Christmas

[Tutorial] DIY nail art tutorial for the noobs~ POLKA DOTS

Nothing fanciful I must say... Just a simple way to create dots with the DOTTING TOOL!!!

[Tutorial] DIY nail art tutorial for the noobs~ FLORAL

Hi peep, how ya?

Just like my title of the post~

I'm sooo excited to share my nail art ideas for the VERY FIRST TIME!!! whoooohoooo~
I've always wanted to do a tutorial or probably after some encouragement from my friends~ i decided to............................................................

Soooo, long story short and LETS GOING!!!

MY VERY FIRST TUTORIAL will be the design that I always do for myself~
and its... TADA~~~


OK, no name for it~ shall call it FLORAL then~
So here are the step by step instructions:



MATERIALS:
1) Base colour nail polish ( used black)
2) Stamping colour nail polish (used white)
3) Stamping tools ( I bought a decades ago... you probably can find it in bugis or Gmarket)
4) a Magical nail polish remover PEN!!!!! (from Sephora... I tell you its damned good)


STEP 1:

As usual basics, shape, file and apply base coat.

STEP 2:

Trick for the sharp slant edge by using SCOTCH TAPE!!!!

Paste the scotch tape in any direction you prefer (left or right) to prevent excessive nail polish from staining the unnecessary areas.
(NOTE: tape the scotch tape on fabric first so that it is not too sticky~)

STEP 3:

Apply 2 layers of base coat. Make sure its all nicely covered with nail polish~


STEP 4:

Remove the scotch tape SLOWLY after complete dry. Not to worry if there are excessive nail polish because........
We are going to use the MAGICAL PEN remover!!!!


SEE~ nicely trimmed!!!!!

STEP 5:

Stamp the design you desire on the slanted edge...... this point, i used a floral type of design to match with it.....

STEP 6:

LASTLY, after the stamping design is dried, seal the nail with a top coat for the glossy complete finish.


THE END!!!!
