Cineleisure Next Online Sensation 4 - CHALLENGE 1!!!

Hello lovelies!!! This is my blog entry for CNOS4 - challenge 1!!!

So the first challenge is to dress up as one of the character in Cathay's 80th anniversary commemorative movie, "Our Sister Mambo" according to 4 different hashtag personalities. In a random team of 3 or 4, we are to dress up each other differently.... and they are:

I bet alot of you guys will be thinking I'll be #kaypohlikeanauntie right?? Due to my super auntie character in real life...

SO NOW I'M TELLING YOU, I'M NOT AUNTIE LAHHHH!!!!

My ideal of being old school is all about being decent, neat and safe in everything!!

Let's see before my transformation.....

Kinda of decent and conservative already right?!? *cough**cough* better agree I tell you.

And here's my #oldschoollikekaya look:

Head:
Neatly clipped hair with the OLD SCHOOL hair clip my mum bought at a discount!

Top:
Black collar top with the old school cardigan in the safest colour options black and white! Buttoned all the way up so I can look more conservative!!!

Bottom:
Regular jeans in grey! Monotones are the best and "safest" #ootd coordinates! Never goes wrong one, I tell you~

Shoe:
Comfy sneakers where colours were throw in to finish my safe and conservative #oldschoollikekaya look!

Accessories:
Not forgetting a never goes wrong tote bag when I go out with the rest of my sisters!

YESSS!! I'm in!!!

And so... I've finally gotten the results of my entry registration for Cineleisure Next Online Sensation 4!!!

Woooohoooo!! I swear this is my last chance !!! LOL!! Because I'll be overaged next year... TT_____TT

So last Saturday, we had our very first meet up and briefing with the rest of the contestants, the same very humorous host and also last year winner Michelle Cheng!

Though it wasn't my first time, I'm still as nervous and excited as before, woke up very early yet still unable to leave my house on time because I WANTED TO BE PERFECT ON OUR FIRST MEETING!! *excuseverymuch*

While cabbing, tried to take some PERFECT pictures BUT........

Cabbie too fast and furious .. my sweep hair pose totally OFF!! =|

This not too bad lah hor? At least got sweep nicely till the back... LOL..

It's some how there already if dont hiam too much...  Not very perfect, but got one that's is more decent:

This year hosting place is at Shokudo!  And a very big THANK YOU for serving us post briefing lunch too. Don't say I never share....

Hurrraaayyy!  We are super lucky and blessed this year! So so so pampered..  arghhh... Every year are just getting better and I'm still happy and excited that I'm in!!

[CINELEISURE'S NEXT ONLINE SENSATION 3] - Challenge 3: Local Heroes

Hi everyone!!! I'm back again for my 3rd and it's the last challenge post!! and it's.........

LOCAL HEROES !!!

This is one of my favorite challenge because it's so smart to combine fashion and entrepreneurship together!! And I always love to be a successful entrepreneur. So this is definitely a little stepping stone to help me gain more experience to be one! Once again, we were randomly grouped into team of 3 and we were to setup our booth at Cathay Cineleisure Orchard to sell items that we bought with Nets Yono Flashpay.

Setting up a booth ain't a new thing for me but what's so special this time round was.....

ALL PROCEEDS GOES TO SPCA!!!!

OMG!!! those cute lil fur balls! So Naturally, you will just felt happy doing it~ Right?

The event held last Saturday was super tiring yet fun and fulfilling specially being able to team up with these 2 crazy and superbly fun girls:

Pretty fated, our team were made up with all creative individual of different strength and of course we definitely made full use of our TALENT!!

A big thank you to Nets Yono Flashpay for funding each team SGD300 to purchase the items we wanted to sell!! With Nets Yono Flashpay, our payments were made smoother and quicker with a tap~ *beeppppp*

Off to our first shop of the day and it's BEADSTREET!!!

Because being the less expensive shop as always, we do not want to miss any chance of raising more funds for SPCA. Even though it's really low in price, we still buay paisei and asked for more discount plus, made reservations of items 3 days before the event start!! #kiasutothemax =X Their boss is really kind enough to support us and made it possible!!!

Next up, MINIKIN!!

We've gotten some pouches and bandannas from them at discounted prices too! Really lucky to have supports from shop owners, Minikin's lao ban niang gave us further discount despite those items were already on sale when we mentioned it was actually being re-sold for a good clause.

And lastly, our last shop was VERY!!!

This was also the shop, where we gotten our best seller of the day.

A genuine leather bracelet for man!! Surprising, it was grabbed quite quickly!!

Teams were given about 3 hours to start selling and raise as much fund as possible for SPCA!!! And make a guess which team came in third and raised $322??

ITS US!!!!! huat ar!! We were really surprised because we never thought we can raise that much with so much stocks left!! Nonetheless, thank you everyone who specially came down and supported us!! Without you, we won't be able to come in 3rd in place.

Together, all of us raised a total of $1832 within the 3 hours for SPCA!! Not bad not bad ar~

We were back again at Charlie Brown Cafe for our challenge 2! We would be recreating PANCAKES from Charlie Brown menu and believe me, it's not as easy as you thought it should be.....

Before I get my hands on the whopping 180°C pan, let the shifu - NICOLE, do a little demonstration first! She carefully explained the steps and little details which aid us for getting the pancakes to look more presentable on photos!

HOW TO COOK PANCAKES??!?!

STEP 1 : Pour 2 round round shape mixture from the pancake mixture and wait till its bubbly.

STEP 2 :  FLIP IT!!

STEP 3 : Prepare the plates ~

STEP 4 : Not forgetting this cute little snoopy powdered with cocoa powder!!!

STEP 6 : SERVE AND SHARE!!!!

** Tips: Try to remember the steps and tips from your shifu! Because even a small action meant a lot to the end product!! To the extent of destroying the look~ *Like my first attempt*
