I went to their outlet at International Building (Orchard Road) last week.

I'm than led to their consultation room where my consultant, Ginnie, did an analysis on my face.
After a short intro of the DERMATECH WHITENING SYSTEM, she went through and explained my skin type and the personalized treatment for my needs!
From their face scanning machine, it shows that my skin surface is very dry but the oil glands underneath it is still very active, therefore there are still some pimple outbreaks. I also have uneven skin tones, pigmentation/ freckles and black heads! =___=
Well I didn't realize my face is this bad! =/
But its ok.... BECAUSE I'M GOING TO GET IT TREATED STRAIGHTAWAY!!
To treat my terrible face conditions, Ginnie recommended Blue and Orange colour light for the Chromotherapy together with the DermaTech Advance Lightening Serum which comprises of 2 key ingredients: Niacinamide and AA2G Complex with Vitamin C (20%) . There will also be extractions for my black heads and the oxygen mask!
Woah...So many terms going on for a treatment? Don't get confuse yet, I'm going to explain the whole process I undergo for your better understanding!!

When I went into one of their therapy rooms, Amethyst, it was so comfortable that I don't feel really nervous any more! The room was dim, comfy and the ambiance was so relaxing~ Just can't wait to get the therapy started as soon as possible.
My therapist for the day, Yen, came in and got everything started!!

First of all, Yen gave me a welcome facial massage after she had all the necessaries prepared. It was very smoothing and calming. I guess probably there were some aromatic essence applied.
2. CLEANSING
She cleansed and removed my make-up I had for the day. While cleansing, a steamer was blown on my face to soften and open up my pores for easy extraction in the later part. Well, I don't really like the steamer blowing on my face because it makes me sneeze. LOL... but no worries, the therapist will adjust it to your comfort!
3. FACIAL SCRUB
I had a facial scrub followed by a hand massage. Something I like about Bella was, they provide extra services either than the treatment you bought! I was quite surprised when Yen mentioned she will be doing the hand massage next!
4. EXTRACTION
Not only a hand massage, she also did paraffin wax for my hands too!! Love it!! I meant, it's too pampering already lah!
So while the "wax" was drying up, Yen did the extraction of my blackheads. I swear this was a procedure I'm most afraid of, because it freaking hurt like mad when I had my blackheads extracted at some cheapo place few years back.
BUT.....it was not as painful as I thought it will be! I've been telling Yen that I'm super scare of the pain and blah blah blah. But she was so nice, she calmed me with her stories of experiences she had and reassured me, umpteen time that if it's too painful or the blackheads were too stubborn to be extracted, she will not force it out!
Without me knowing, she was done!! I'm so proud of myself! (￣ε(#￣)
5. CHROMOTHERAPY
After the extraction, she removed the "wax" and we continued the treatment with DermaTech Advance Lightening Serum and Chromotherapy! She applied the serum and started with the blue light first followed by the orange light ~ The serum is very cooling and I really love it when she applied on my face.
What does DermaTech Advance Lightening Serum do?
Like I mentioned earlier, DermaTech Advance Lightening Serum comprises of 2 key ingredients:
Niacinamide
• Water soluble vitamin B complex
• Reduces epidermal water loss
• Improve circulation
AA2G Complex with Vitamin C (20 %)
• It is natural Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) stabilized with glucose
• AA2G has glucose compounds which protects Vitamin C from high temperatures, pH, metal ions etc from losing its efficacy.
• One of skin’s enzyme (a-glucosidase) reacts with AA2G in releasing the powerful benefits of Vitamin C

What is Chormotherapy?
Don't got too shocked with this term. It is actually using colour light therapy that measures 480 nanometer to 640 nanometer in the following colour bands for specific needs to individual skin type:
YELLOW
BLUE
ORANGE
TURQUOISE
RED
PURPLE
Sound cool?
You will also literately see the colour of the light when it was treated on your face! Like I've also mentioned earlier, Ginnie recommended BLUE and ORANGE for my skin.
So what does these 2 colours help with my face condition?
BLUE LIGHT
* soothing and healing
* calms and heal skin sensitivity and irritation
* re-balances sebum secretion
* helps reduce acne scarring
ORANGE LIGHT
* aids in lymphatic drainage - targets on puffiness, acne, impure skin conditions
* helps in reduction of pigmentation
The colour light is depending on individual skin types and needs!
For this treatment,there will/ will not have a tingling sensation on your cheeks, chin or forehead area. It is depending on individual face conditions. Like my face, I only felt the tingling sensation on my right cheek! Otherwise it was cooling and comfortable that I could fall asleep right away!
6. OXYGEN CREAM MASK
After the chromotherapy, Yen massaged my face and applied the oxygen cream mask. You heard of oxygen mask right? Now it is in mousse form that penetrates into our skin! Whooo hooo
What does the oxygen cream mask helps in?
• Drenches skin with moisture and uphold the skin’s capacity to retain moisture
• Pure oxygen revitalises cells
• Smoothens fine lines and deep wrinkles
• Helps to diminish age spots and surface pigmentation

At this point, the treatment was so soothing and comfortable that I really fell asleep. It is just so relaxing lah! Yen mentioned to me before, the more relaxed you are, the better the treatment will be absorbed into our skin. I totally just leave it to her to take care of my face for that moment and I did not even realized I was sleeping away while she left the mask for about 10 - 15mins!
7. MASSAGE/TONER/SUNBLOCK
Last but not least, Yen gave me a very good shoulder massage that got my back more relaxed. Followed by toner and sunblock to protect my face before I leave!
I'm so really impressed with their services! Really really pampering and relaxing~
Not only the treatment was so pampering and comfortable, the results after the treatment were even more astonished. I never ever admire my skin so much before the face treatment! My face texture was so smooth and radiant. I don't even see much of uneven tones too!! Most importantly, my blackheads were not visible at all!! I'm really in love with their treatment~ For now at least I know who should I go to, before my wedding!
