MY sofa

I believe some of you know I've been working on a sofa design for my dad or basically for my house...Wahahaha...

Well, to be honest, I'm excited and happy even if there is negative outcome. Not that its my first design piece, but its the support my family gives and push me to fulfill what i want. ITS THE MOTIVATION AND SUPPORT!!! *gan dong dao~*

Don't keep you waiting, now i present my design for my daddy and mummy~

Disappointed??!?!

It's a simple and typical type of design I must say.. Its not the design for competition or to "WOW" other people because of its aesthetics.. BUT its something to suit my mum's habit and my dad's requirement when they could not get from outside~

Mum loves to move the placement of the furniture regularly~ therefore, i designed this to suit her and allows her to move to whatever arrangement she likes!

EXAMPLE:



For this arrangement, i can build a tray and it can acts as a side table..

Dad's requirement is basically wants it hard when seated on and easy cleaning~ therefore i recommended and chose the foam and fabric myself. Foam was of the highest density and the fabric is definitely waterproof to a certain level.

** Akemi's tips : IF you want something easy to maintain, DON'T use leather or PVC leather! They look good and expensive BUT not suitable for our climate!! Highest maintenance needed and it will crack like nobody business~ NOT RECOMMENDABLE!!!

Most importantly, the sofa can be made to any dimensions i want! not just the normal 3 seater? or 2 seater?

SO people with lotsa comments, go ahead and shoot it out!!! I DON'T FREAKING CARE!!!! because nothing beats seeing my own design physically even its ordinary!! Hell YEA!!!

First to start off, KM came back for a very very short break from her studies in HK!!! I only managed to meet with her once.... and we ate all the way..... WTF...

CHOMP-ed......MAC-ed followed by prata-ed....all in 1 night with awesome and random people~ KM, pea, Edward , Xiang, Sean and ME... RANDOM??!?!

But was a goodie and nice gathering with all our nonsenses~ *hand sign* wahahahaha... But i do not know why we did not take pictures...but just this:

Anyway, I still did not manage to send her off this time round *guilty* and still, she leaves with me a few goodies she brought from HK!!! LOVE HER!!! <3

Anyway, this post is about a NN movie contest that i wanna take part....

Basically i want to catch this!!! the supernatural powers are awesome by watching it (even i knew its not real~) !! and the producer , Michael Bay, is the guy who produced " TRANSFORMER" -> awesome movie !!! *wow**wow*


The #4 , Alex Pettyfer AKA John smith is yandao lah~ so charming....
AND YOU KNOW WHAT??!?! the preview will be screening on the Valentine's Day!! great date with him in the theater by watching the film!!!! he is so cool and shuai!!! *aRRRrhhh shuai shuai~*

FINALLY Javier's-ed

Today's class was killing~
The routine has choreographed till quite a decent counts BUT maybe due to my age and size *tsk tsk* I feel I'm ultimately shagged!!!!! + I'm dying from hunger even before the class starts... LMAO

Anyhow, after the shaggy class, me and X went to have our dinner at Javier's.....I'm sua ku lah... I do not know when it opened just realized recently there is a new place for food at cine!! Wahahahaha...

Finally, I'VE GOT THE CHANCE!!!!!!!!!!



See the amount of sides I have~ can you still find my chix??? LOL

Basically, you will just have to order a main and top whatever amount of sides you like~ as much as you could to fill the gigantic plate!!! they have wide variety of choices And is mad filling that I can't even finish!!! I just had all my sides and gave my 1/4 chix to X!! Wahahaha... I should have just ordered their "fill the plate salad" (just sides only)

Most importantly, I feel it's CHEAP!!!! Just both of us, include drinks and soup, it's only less than $30~ imagine I just order the sides without the main, it's even cheaper!!!!! WOW~

TUA SEH KAI movie review~

I was still having my CNY break and we decided to watch Tua Seh Kai ( it's a great great world) !!! I always want to catch it ever since i watched the "in the making" of this movie and know that is about a legendary amusement park of Singapore.


Well obviously I'm not from that era but i definitely love watching movies that is connected with the past~

" IT'S A GREAT GREAT WORLD is set in Singapore's legendary amusement park - Great World, which was also affectionately known in Hokkien as Tua Seh Kai or . Spanning the 1940s to the present day, the film tells the stories of a multitude of characters who lived, worked, played, sang, danced and fell in love in Great World. "

Booked the tix the day before, its rather hot selling~ Hah.... *to the elderly*

It was my first time watching movie during weekdays at 1.15 pm and yet it is still FULL HOUSE. When we went in the cinema, surprising, WE ARE THE YOUNGEST AMONG ALL!!!

The cinema was packed with the elderly, aunties,uncles. I guess they like to reminiscing the past when great world is still around~


Anyway, thou I do not know how was it like in the past but it is really interesting to know and realize from this movie!! The mixture and the use of dialects made it very heartwarming-ly funny..imagine it is all spoken with mandarin, it will definitely look fake and boring~

ME LIKE!!!! 5 STARS~

Learn and feel lots of things while watching, compared to us ( the current generation), its of world of difference. Naively, i feel, if we could remain some of the past characteristic and thinking in that era, wouldn't it be nice ??!?! 人人为我，我为人人 ....

Overall, its a watchable movie if you are interested to know more about the past (there are also photography of the past to add the taste!!!) !!!

Coincidentally, during the CNY visit later in the night, nai nai (ting's granny) told me that, her 相亲 with her hubby was at GREAT WORLD!!! and she told me her story of the 相亲 ....See, how nice! I do not know how could i describe my love for knowing the past of singapore and people.... It is just basically SO INTERESTING compared to NOW!!!! *guess i belonged to that era*

Everyone is out... so am I.. *excited excited*
